Ocean Wind conducts Training trips in English and German.

Improve your skills in all areas of sailing, from boat handling to navigation and planning. We can help you in anything you need to bring you up to speed, of course if there are any topics you would like to cover, just let us know.

• Topics to be covered can include:
• Taking command of a vessel
• Navigation, using charts and navigation tools, as well as with GPS
• Harbour manuevers and berthing/unberthing
• Boat handling under motor and sail including MOB
• Passage planning including meteorology
• COLREGS
• Emergencies
• Provisioning
• Add your own requests

All training trips are carried out according to the content requirements of the Swiss Ocean Sailing Regulations as well as the verification of miles sailed and manuevers practiced required by the CCS or the SYA.
